To all, It has been very hard to keep this secret for the last month or so but now it is time to let the cat out of the bag. Mildred Lancaster will be retiring and her last day of employment will be 24 February 2016. Mildred will be working minimal hours between now and the 24th however there will be a retirement dinner for her later this month. We will keep you apprised of the dinner as we get more information. To all, SOP and Written Tests We have updated our SOP, FAR Local Procedures Test and 172 Test. You can access these documents on the Flyingactivity.com website however the 172 test will be reposted hopefully in the next 24 hours as there was an error on one of the questions. To all, There is currently a NOTAM out stating that there will be no flying unless the tower is open. Please note that this NOTAM should be removed by Friday. There are other NOTAM out stating runway closure so we are not able to fly away over the next couple days because of military operations.
