The AircraftScheduling program is designed to allow the scheduling of aircraft and the operation of an FBO or flying club. The program is used to schedule aircraft and if the administrator chooses to enable the aircraft checkin and checkout procedures, the program is used to control access to the aircraft using modifiable rules. The program maintains a database of members along with currency information to determine if a particular member is allowed to check out a particular aircraft.
The administrator's (or a trusted person) only responsibility is to maintain the member list and the currency dates for those members. The program performs the complex calculations to determine if a person is still current according to the FARs and any local flying rules.
The features of the program include:
Scheduling of aircraft with user selectable repeating intervals.
Scheduling of instructors. Both with an aircraft and as standalone bookings.
Control of members checking in and out of aircraft to include maintenance of member's currency using a set of modifiable currency rules.
Automated billing reports for both daily (credit card reports) and monthly billing.
Automated Daily Activity Report.
Inventory control including selling and posting to member's account, notification when stock is low and stock location.
Maintenance of aircraft records to include recording of user generated squawks, oil change intervals, 100 hour intervals and annual intervals.
Enforcement of safety issues to include:
Not allowing members to check out aircraft that have expired annual or 100 hr inspections.
Not allowing members who are not current to check out aircraft (expired day or night currency, safety meetings, annual flight reviews, initial checkout in aircraft, etc.).
Performs Va and weight and balance calculations for all aircraft that a pilot is checking out.
Supports various aircraft types with one front seat, up to two back seats and up to three baggage areas. All weight and balance stations can have a default weight.
